On Wednesday we treated 491 patients in Kasongo. The morning was slow as there were two funerals that proceeded before our clinic that many in the village attended. We had 3 hospital admissions. Day 3
Tuesday’s clinic was at George Compound — the town where the OMNI School is located. It was a very challenging clinic for the medical team, but they were able to see 556 patients. One serious injury was a snake bite that needed amputation. Another patient was in end-stage HIV and passed away later that day.
2013 Mission Trip is Underway
The OMNI Mobile Medical Team has safely arrived in South Africa for a layover. Tomorrow the team flies to Ndola, Zambia to begin preparations for the mobile medical clinics. More to come!
Loveness
