Day 6
Early in the day, a woman was carried in through a crowd of 600. With no room to lay her down, we placed her on a ten foot concrete area of the floor in the wound care lab.
Next, was a critical patient, yet to be diagnosed, was placed on the floor all day in critical condition.
Within 5 minutes, a woman who had Cobra venom spit into her left eye walked fifteen minutes to get to our clinic for care. By the time we flushed her eye and took vitals, a young girl arrived that was in active seizure state.
We closed the clinic by headlamp after serving 723 patients.
