Dear Karen,

All school programs are going on very well and all the the teachers are committed to duty and they are doing well health wise.

We made a follow up on addition classes (8th & 9th grades). The District Education Standards Officer (DESO) told us that the government will give us 4 teachers on government payroll and that OMNI should employ 2 more to make the total 6.

As for the laboratory, she advised that we can start with mobile ones as we await the construction of the permanent one.

28 top students, 4 from each grade, were presented with different gifts by one of my former classmate. The students were very happy to receive assorted school materials, backpacks, books, mathematical sets,pens, pencils etc.

Attendance
Grade 1
Average attendance is 37 out of 40. Abigail has malaria and is on medication.

Grade 2
Average attendance is 31 out of 33.

Grade 3
Average attendance is 26 out of 29.

Grade 4
Average attendance is 28 out of 31.

Grade 5
Average attendance is 28 out of 33. Abel is sick.

Grade 6
Average attendance is 27 out of 34.

Grade 7
Average attendance is 16 out of 20.
