Academic Year 2026
The school programs are going on as planned. This is the last term of the academic year 2026. We will have Grade 7 exams in late October, which will run for a week.
Most of the students have reported; only a few are yet to report.
Thanks for the purchase of the reading books for the new competence-based curriculum, and thanks for the new desks.
On Friday last week, I attended a Grade 7 performance review meeting where we were analyzing the results for Grade 7, 2026, and then strategizing how to improve performance by applying reflective teaching for all examination classes instead of the traditional way of teaching.
On Monday, I attended another meeting. This time it was about management of schools. The district education board secretary and his team addressed us. The objective was to discuss how to manage schools in line with the new curriculum.
