Dear Karen,

I had a meeting with the parents to our students this morning to inform and update them on the progress made pertaining to national exams. Both parents and students signed malpractice declaration forms as required by the examination council of Zambia. All 7th graders and their parents/guardians showed up for the activity.

I should be going for packaging of exam papers at the district education offices next week.

Total is 50, average performance is 54.5%. The general attendance of some women is not very good. I have their attendance statistics and have been thinking of how best we can help them improve their attendance.

I just had a discussion with them as class, trying to find out why was the attendance going down. They cited reasons such being committed with other family and personal issues.

Continued blessings,
Teddy.
