Dear Madam,
Welfare of staff members
Welfare of staff member is reported to be fair together with their families and no illness was reported.
The performance of general workers keeps on improving and supportive to the organization in archiving its aims and objectives.
Projects
The new Cafeteria is completed and the contractor of the project reported and confirmed his completion both to Omni and Ndola Rotary club.
Karen’s House and the cinder wall, the two builders working on these two projects asked for some time off during the festival period to be with their families and go to church for prayers. Works will recommence next week after New Year holidays.
Don donated two pregnant female goats to Omni and has asked Omni to buy a male goat. Currently at the site.
Chicken and farming
The chickens are all doing fine and have continued to produce eggs and we are selling out some to the general public and being reserved for the next school team. The maize project is doing fine at this stage doing the weeding and will need to start applying D-compound fertilizer.
Wire Fencing
We still have about four rolls of wire that needs to be purchased to complete the project that even includes the wire that was stolen and reported to you. The cost will reflect in the January, 2015 Budget.
Transport
Both the canter and Hilux are still in good condition and are serviceable.
