Weekly Report
REF: WEEKLY REPORT
Reference is made from the above mentioned subject matter; I have to report to you that:
School: The second school term has come to an end today Friday 8th August, 2014 and will reopen on the 8th September, 2014. On average we saw a reduction in malaria cases after the distribution of mosquito nets to our pupils and staff and all were reported to be in good health.
WELFARE OF STAFF MEMBERS
The welfare of staff members is reported not to be very fair as Jane Katongo was reported sick suffering from stomach upsets, the rest of the staff members are all in good health together with their families.
The community leaders around Omni’s catchment areas thank the Omni president and the term at large for having considered them for the last month’s mobile clinics and the people are grateful to have been seen and helped with the challenges that they faced due to no clinics in their area and medications. They are all asking Omni to continue helping them and reaching out to them.
FARMING PROJECT/CHICKEN HOUSE
The chickens have continued to produce eggs for the school and general community at large. The garden has also continued to produce fresh vegetables for the school.
TRANSPORT
Both the Hilux and canter are in good condition and serviceable.
VITAL INSTALLATION
All have been checked and not all are intact the cafeteria needs new doors and locks. The toilet at near MHEW needs to be worked on as it is out of order.
