Week 9 School Report

Dear Karen,

All school programs are going on very well. We just had interviews for next year’s first graders. 86 applicants showed up for the interviews, as usual, we only had the interview for an hour. Next week, Friday, I should come up with a list of 30 students who’ll start grade one next year in January.

Teachers:
Violet is sick with malaria. Lyness will be getting married on the 14th of November 2015.

Attendance
Grade 1
Total is 29, 12 boys and 17 girls. Average attendance was 24.

Grade 2
Total is 28, 14 boys and 14 girls. Average attendance was 24.

Grade 3
Total is 29, 18 boys and 11 girls. Average attendance was 25.

Grade 4
Total is 32, 12 boys and 20 girls respectively. Average attendance was 28.
Illnesses. Shabani has a headache.

Grade 5
Total is 30, 17 boys and 13 girls respectively. Average attendance was 21.
Illnesses. Justin continues to miss school because of seizures and Owen was bitten by a dog. He was taken to the clinic and is on medication.

Grade 6
Total is 28, 17 boys and 11 girls. Average attendance was 24. No illness.

The 7th graders have started rehearsing for the forth coming graduation ceremony.
