Week 8 Report
Dear Karen,
The school has continued to do very well. All 23 seventh graders have been entered for this year’s national examination which will take place in October.
G1
86% is the average attendance or the week. Only 1 boy, Dalitso, is sick. He has a headache.
G2
The average attendance is 88%. No illness has been recorded. A boy named Aaron was hit by a bicycle on his way home on Wednesday, he is feeling much better.
G3
Average attendance is 92%. Shaman has malaria.
G4
89% is the average attendance for the week. No illness.
G5
Average attendance is 83%, illnesses; Victor has a headache, Junior has a cough and Therese has some rash.
G6
The average attendance is 88%. Illnesses; Mutale has some rash, Lillian has a cough and Mervis has a wound on her right knee. She hurt herself as she was coming to school on Wednesday morning. I took her to clinic where she was attended by nurses. It was quiet a deep cut.
G7
The average attendance is 91% and only Given is on malaria medication.
There ha been an improvement in the general attendance and a reduction in the malarial cases this week.
All teachers are doing well in their duties and they are healthy.
