Dear Karen,

All is well at school. We have started assessing students in the end of term one. School will close next week on the 10th April.

Attendance
Grade 1
Total is 30, 17 boys and 13 girls. Average attendance is 29.

Grade 2
Total is 30, 14 boys and 16 girls. Average attendance is 29.
Joyce has gone to Kitwe. Am yet to make a follow up and learn if she’ll come back to OMNI school or not.

Grade 3
Total is 28, 18 boys and 11 girls. Average attendance is 26. 3 students were absent because of heavy downpour of the rains.

Grade 4
Total is 32, 12 boys and 20 girls. Average attendance is 32.

Grade 5
Total is 31, 17 boys and 14 girls. Average attendance is 30.
Miriam has only attended 3 days out of the 57 school days so far. Another follow-up will be made and the way forward will be communicated afterwards.

Grade 6
Total is 29, 17 boys and 12 girls respectively. Average attendance is 29.

Grade 7
Total is 24, 12. Boys and 12 girls. Average attendance is 24.

The attendance in general has improved very much and we did not record any illness during the course of the week.
