School Update: Graduation Ceremony Preparations

Dear Karen,

The school programs have continued going on very well. The attendance for the week was as follows:

Grade 1
Average is 27 of 30. John has a cough.
Grade 2
Average is 26 of 31.
Grade 3
Average is 29 of 32. Lackson has malaria.
Grade 4
Average is 23 of 28.
Grade 5
Average is 25 of 31. Paulina has a headache.
Grade 6
Average is 23 of 26.

REQUISITES
Grade 1
– 30 x K30 literacy books
– 15 x K47 mathematics books

Below is a proposed budget for this year’s 5th graduation ceremony.

We are planning for about 350 people; of which 203 are our students, 18 are OMNI staff, 3 ( OMNI) team from USA, about 10-15 Rotarians, and the rest are distinguished guests ( guest of honor, parents, school committee, community leaders, etc)

– 40 litres cooking oil
– 25 crates of soft drinks
– 50 chickens
– 10kg bread flour
– 10 boxes of mineral water
– 2 bags of charcoal
– heads of cabbage
– carrots
– green pepper
– onions

– disposable folks & plates

– 200 plastic chairs(hiring)
