Jane’s children are doing well health wise and they play at OMNI site and sometimes they have company of OMNI kids from George to play with them on site. They look very happy to be at OMNI. The baby had malaria but she is fine now as we took her to the clinic and got anti-malaria medications.

Meanwhile, Jane has been looking at houses for rent in George. There is a house that she really likes.

OMNI KIDS MISSING SHOES:
School open next Monday as such all the kids will be back for school then I will have their feet measured for shoe purchase.

As for the 8th graders I do have their sizes for shoe purchase. Next week I will be at Bata store and get the estimate.

MHEW ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION: I have the total cost from the builder. Mrs. Bwali had an operation on her eyes. She is expected to be in office Monday next week then I will hear what her views are over the cost.

ROTARY GRANT FOR MHEW: I have all the quotations for desks, chairs and teacher’s tables e.t.c. I also have the list that Don has. He promised to get back to me as soon as he confirms with the firms from which the purchases will be done. He assured me that all is well and the funds are there for the grant.

NATASHA: the deaf child that OMNI sponsors at the deaf school in Kalulushi will be going back to school September 3 . The mother will take her to school.

GOATS:
We had 11 goats. 10 goats were sold at K40,000 each regardless of size. A total of K400,000 was realized. We have 4 little goats and one (1) big goat that is nursing. By the end of September the goats will be big enough to leave OMNI site. As such, the money has been used to buy feed for the goats and deworming and vitamins also operational costs.
