School Report

Dear Karen,

All programs at school are going on very well. Students are learning well, more especially that we have enough books for both students and teachers.

Illnesses/injuries
Grade 1
Felista, a girl with a fractured hand, has gone for review today. Mercy has malaria.

Grade 2
Blessings was diagnosed and is on treatment for malaria. Priscovia has a neck pain.

Grade 3
Dominic has been admitted at children’s hospital, he has malaria. Martin, Jane’s son, has stomachache and diarrhea.

Grades 5,6, & 7
All are very well.

Attendance/absenteeism
The attendance in general is very good.
Blessings, a 2nd grader, has relocated to Serenje, central province.

Mary and Memory have not improved their attendance.

The teachers have started preparing the end of term assessments.

Grade sevens have just finished writing their national examination today. They were examined in: Maths, English, integrated science, social and development studies, creative and technology studies, Zambian language (Bemba), special paper 1 and special paper 2.
