I have to report to you that the school is safe and sound with normal learning and working activities going on successfully.
Schools reopened on Monday 1 February 2021 and we had a good turnout for all grades including the first grades reported for the first time at OMNI school.
With Precautionary measures were and are being followed in preventing Covid 19 among the staff and students.
We strongly addressed the staff members and students on the adherence to the measures of preventing the spread of Covid 19, by keeping social distance, mask up all the time, washing of hands, no shaking of hands, after using the convenience rooms etc.
Sweaters have been delivered to the school by Sakiza Spinning Limited--a total of 166 and more will be delivered soon. School shoes have equally been purchased for the students including uniforms and rain coats for staff members. On behalf of the students, staff members and parents, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our donors, the OMNI president and the board for the continued support to OMNI school even through this challenging time of the Covid 19 pandemic.
Welfare of students is reported to be in good health and we are checking body temperatures at the main gate before we allow them to enter the school and advised the learners and staff members that if they are not feeling well they should go to the clinic as soon as possible before coming to school.
Staff members are in good health together with their families and no illness was reported to my office.
