Mansansa
Our clinic started with our remaining patients who needed tooth extractions from the chaos of the previous clinic at Kasongo Village. Dr Doug finished extracting teeth in the abandoned building where the long horn cattle pass through twice a day. Marcia and I drove in another car to see a patient with a STD infection needing injections. We traveled on to Mansansa, the farming village deeper into the bush and across a beautiful river.
The village is peaceful and known to us for 10 years. Our team set up in a brick building with no windows and no doors. Andrew and I ran triage outside under a tarp that Henry “H2” attached to our truck and the building. Over 350 beautiful souls were served.
Each of us have a beautiful story to share.
Kailey And I made a home visit to a 100 year old woman deeper into the bush. It was a blessing for all.
Our doctors, nurses, and amazing support team are touching the lives with love and empathy, and we’re seeing God’s face everywhere.
