Mackenzie
Hello everyone,
We just finished our clinic at Mackenzie — an inner city compound identified by a dense population that lives within a dump of goats, pigs, and poverty.
478 patients were served including those with HIV and survivors of domestic violence. I triaged 3 children who lost their mother (who was murdered by their father) and are now cared for by grandma. Her love for them was clearly evident. Jane gifted this family with her birthday money from OMNI. Dr. Doug saw 40 patients today.
We were hosted by the Ndola Rotary Club who generously donated meat pies and drinks for our lunch
It was another day of good work here.
