Karen’s House Completed
The house building project has been completed.
We hope that Karen of Baluba will be another OMNI success story. In 2006, Karen was near death and brought to the OMNI medical clinic. She was suffering from starvation and severe dehydration. OMNI rushed her to the hospital, where they had to shave her hair to start an IV. Since then, Karen and her grandmother visit OMNI every year. This year, OMNI started supporting her education, paying for her tuition, and providing her with food.
When OMNI president Karen ReMine visited with “Little” Karen in Baluba township last Fall, she was shocked by the dilapidated condition of her home. So, OMNI set to work to quickly build her a new home. With your help, we were able to make that happen!
