Chisapa
Hi everyone,
I write this from the back of our vehicle at almost 9 pm as we drive back from the deep bush clinic. It was an early start leaving at 7. We crossed the Savanna where elephants used to roam years ago to press on to our destination providing care under the tree of life. We passed oxen oxen carts and villagers walking past their grass huts.
I suspect we saw nearly 400 patients many suffering with intestinal worms and some of starvation. We had positive HIV results in lab again.
This is an amazing team and everyone has worked hard with great energy and positive attitudes. I’m enjoying the team and still think it is the very best yet!
