All the school programs are going on so well. There is an improvement in the attendance of the students. The teachers have continued executing their duties diligently.<\/p>\n
The district education office has asked us ( as a school ) to come up with 3 school policies for this year. I have chosen absenteeism, home work and environment.<\/p>\n
In trying to improve learner performance, home work is one of the tools identified to enhance excellent performance of students hence coming up with the home work policy.<\/p>\n
The country, Ndola district inclusive faces environmental challenges ranging from land degradation, inadequate sanitation, air and water pollution. Concerns for the worsening environmental degradation prompts the need to create a school environmental policy.<\/p>\n
Learning is acquiring knowledge or skill. The school motto states that: “Empowering Children Through Education”, for our students to be empowered, they need to improve their attendance. So I feel involving their parents in the educating of the students is very important and will help us as teachers and indeed as a school.<\/p>\n

\nTotal is 30, 13 boys and 17 girls. Average attendance is 29. Illness: Friday has malaria.<\/p>\n
Grade 2
\nTotal is 29, 14 boys and 15 girls. Average attendance is 27.<\/p>\n
Grade 3
\nTotal is 29, 18 boys and 11 girls. Average attendance is 27. Thomas has malaria and Ignatius has a headache.<\/p>\n
Grade 4
\nTotal is 32, 12 boys and 20 girls respectively. Average attendance is 29.<\/p>\n
Grade 5
\nTotal is 31, 17 boys and 14. Average attendance is 24.<\/p>\n
Grade 6
\nTotal is 29, 17 boys and 12 girls. Average attendance is 28.<\/p>\n
Grade 7
\nTotal is 24, 12 boys and 12 girls respectively. The average attendance is 23.<\/p>\n
The attendance in general is very good.<\/p>\n
We have started assessing students on a monthly basis so that we see how best we can them.<\/p>\n
