All is well at school and the lessons are going on well.<\/p>\n
Grade 1
\nThe average attendance of the week is 28. 14 boys and 14 girls. No sickness was recorded.<\/p>\n
Grade 2
\nA total of 29 students showed up of which 18 are boys and 11 are girls respectively. Castro has a stomach upset, whilst Dennis and Eunicia complained of severe headache\/malaria.<\/p>\n
Grade 3
\n32 in total where, 19 are boys and 13 are girls respectively.<\/p>\n
Grade 4
\nTotal 28 boys 16 and 12 girls. Present today 25, 15 boys and 10 girls. Dominic has a headache.<\/p>\n
Grade 5
\nThere are 18 boys and 13 girls making a total of 31 students. Justin is still having fits.<\/p>\n
Grade 6
\n24 students, 13 boys and 11 girls. Esther has malaria.<\/p>\n
Finally, in 7th grade, there are 12 boys and 11 girls, a total of 23 students. All are well.<\/p>\n
Most students have reported for school and only a few has not yet reported. The attendance in general has been good.<\/p>\n
We are yet to be oriented in the new syllabus. It is about teaching the first four grades using the local languages as the languages of instruction and English to be introduced in fifth grade.<\/p>\n
The teachers are executing their duties diligently. Gift, the new teacher, is also doing very well.<\/p>\n
We are so grateful once more for the school supplies we requested.<\/p>\n
Terrence, best student 2012, has relocated to a very remote area about 15km after KASUNUNU in Luanshya. He asked me if Omni could help him with a bicycle so that he can be able to ride to school every day. I told him that I’ll get back to him after communicating to you.<\/p>\n
The Omni students who wrote the 9th grade national exams performed very well. Asho, was top student at George Secondary school.<\/p>\n
