Dear Karen,

The school is getting on course after the break. Most students have reported and only a few have not. All the academic programs are going on very well.

Gift has started her maternity leave and we have hired a stand-in teacher to care of her class till she resumes work.

Attendance

Grade 1
The average attendance was 36 of 40. Alex has an eye infection while Ireen has malaria and is on medication.

Grade 2
The average attendance was 29 of 37. Siliya, Demas, Emeldah and Aaron have headaches. Clara has not yet reported.

Grade 3
The average attendance was 28 of 32.

Grade 4
The average attendance was 21 of 26. Angel is still sick with chicken pox, Alice is complaining of pain in the leg. Jennipher has lost her young sister.

Grade 5
The average attendance was 27 of 32.

Grade 6
The average attendance was 25 of 31.

Grade 7
The average attendance was 29 of 34. Emmanuel has chicken pox.

Grade 8
The average attendance was 30 of 41. Royce, Edwin and Simeon have not yet reported.

There is an outbreak of chicken pox in George village though it’s not country wide. Almost each day or every after two days, there are cases of chicken pox being reported at our school.
