School Report: A New Baby, New Teachers, Malaria, Goat Roof, and Vehicles

Students reported sick this week is has follows: Grade 1- Noriah is suffering from malaria. Grade 2-Aaron who is suffering from sickle cell, Grade 7- Evelyn suffering from Malaria and
Grade 8- Dalacila is equally suffering from malaria.

Welfare of staff members is reported to be fair together with their family members and Victor’s wife has given birth to a baby girl.

The school is being managed very well and I am pleased to inform you that the ministry of General Education deployed another Teacher by the name of Ms Kasongo Eunice to take on the grade 8 classes and Kelvin Simukwanya the new teacher employed by OMNI for the grade eight classes.

General work performance of staff members is appropriate and very supportive in the operations of the organization in achieving her goals and objectives.

The contractor has continued to make progress on the ablution block and so far he managed to complete ream beam level and remaining with three courses to reach roof level and start the roofing by next week.

The layers, school garden and the goats have continued to produce food to the school. The goat’s needs a new house to be constructed has the current one has collapsed after the heavy rain.

Both the canter and Hilux are serviceable but not in good condition has the Hilux failed the fitness test at the Road Safety and Transport Agency (RSTA) due to the tires not in good condition and the service is equally due. The canter needs an overall service and recommended to have the engine replaced and general body works fittings and fixings.
