End of 1st School Term Report
Term one which started in late January has come to an end today. Students Will be on recess for three weeks and thereafter reopen on Monday 14th May 2018.
The students performed well in the term one assessments. We had an open day meeting with the parent and guardians yesterday which was well attended.
The inspirational and encouraging message from the OMNI President was conveyed to the audience during the meeting and the parents and guardians promised to continue supporting their children and the school at large.
The parents expressed their gratitude to OMNI for empowering their children through education.
All the teachers are doing well and executing their duties diligently. The three teachers who were on internship for the past three months will be going back to their respective colleges. So there will be need for us to hire new teachers to take up the three positions.
We will be having a zonal teacher group meeting on the opening day. Teachers form 11 schools within our zone will meet at the zonal center for continuous professional development (CPD). During such meetings, teachers discuss issues pertaining to how they can improve their teaching skills and how they can also handle different classroom situations.
Attendance
The attendance in general was very well.
